our method
If you can think it, we can do it.
THINK The first step is listening to you, the client, determining how we can align our project with your mission, values and the goals you have in mind. At AES, we pride ourselves in a complete start to finish solution for our clients. Once we have gained all the necessary information from you, our team immediately begins to think of the possibilities. We tend to go way outside the box and stretch our imagination in order to give you something extraordinary and completely unique.
DESIGN Once we have brainstorm and developed ideas, AES will then put those ideas on paper
in a professional proposal & design for your review. Our team of designers, illustrators and
marketing professionals will make sure you have enough information before we start so that you
can catch the vision for what is about to become a reality.
CREATE Now we have thought up a great idea and drawn it out for you…but can we really make all those nuts and bolts do what we want them to do? Absolutely, and then some. When all design concepts are established and rendered, construction and production get underway at our 40,000 square foot production site. Float projects are built by our professionals on a specially constructed chassis - specifically engineered for your particular design. A metal framework is welded onto the chassis. We add moving hydraulic systems, stereo sound and special effects. You will then see your vision come to life.

NATIONAL & LOCAL MEDIA PRESS RELEASES Take advantage of AES years of media connections and popularity to bring local and national attention to the building, decoration, and many community resources benefiting from your Rose Parade float.
CORPORATE PARTY & TOURS SPONSORED By AES Bring your best managers, clients, and employees as we celebrate the completion of your Rose Parade float with a facilities and Rose Parade tour and cocktail party.
CORPORATE MERCHANDISING with ROSE PARADE EMBLEMS Distribute anything from pens to notepads to coffee mugs to your clients, employees and even customers each with your corporate logo and the emblem of the Tournament of Roses Parade®
CALENDAR & POSTCARD CAMPAIGN Want to stay informed? In the past, AES has produced with various sponsors a yearly calendar and post cards highlighting significant company dates in history along with national holidays, and key dates in the construction of their float and surrounding activities. Send them to clients, vendors, employees and customers!
EMAIL CAMPAIGN A monthly email newsletter produced by AES will be sent to the sponsor’s list of recipients to inform them of any news and notes regarding their float and their overall participation in the Rose Parade. Emails can contain just about any form of information such as text, photos, and even video!
AES EXCLUSIVE WEBSITE Each sponsor of AES will receive a password to distribute to their employees for a live and up to
date look at the company’s Rose Parade participation. From photos and video to news and reviews, your website will keep your employees engaged from start to finish. We can even keep a live web cam on your float all year long so everyone can watch the progression of construction throughout.
DOCUMENTARY VIDEO & PHOTO COVERAGE With every float we design and build, AES keeps a running log of photos documenting the construction of your float and the special events surrounding the Rose Parade. We can also organize a video documentary through Rose Parade veterans, Goal Productions.
POSTER/PRINT MATERIALS A perfect opportunity to promote your company’s involvement in the Rose Parade is an in-store poster that AES can help you conceptualize, design and print.
CONTEST/SWEEPSTAKES CAMPAIGN Most of our sponsors plan a contest or sweepstakes for their employees, partnering community organizations, and customers. We will show you past concepts and help you brainstorm new ones for your company.
AES NEWSPAPER AD Every January 1st, AES places an advertisement in the Pasadena Star News listing and congratulating each and every one of our parade sponsors and highlighting our award winners.
COUNTDOWN TO NEW YEAR’S DAY
ES past award winners and show-stoppers include memorable experiences such as
Disney’s Tower of Terror, Lucas Films StarWars Spectacular, LA Dodger’s 50th Anniversary, Jack in the Box’s “Jack-O-Licious” Hats Off to Disco”, and Honda’s King Kong. AES has found a formula to extend the float experience beyond the float.
Our team of designers will work in conjunction with you to create an experience for the parade viewer within the 2010 parade theme of A CUT ABOVE THE REST
that will simply draw attention to it like no other float.
